KBC Channel 1 ( Kenya Broadcasting Corporation) is a state owned and was previously called VOK (Voice of Kenya)
Today the state run channel went offline for many minutes .This is the second time in the last few months KBC has gone offline. The station was left blank with a controversial message that said, "Sorry about the interruption to your viewing. Our teams will get you back to your favorite shows as soon as we can. Thanks for understanding."
This arose a lot of panic and KBC Chanel 1 was trending in Twitter and other social media sites.Dennis Itumbi(A politician) posted on Twitter demanding answers to this event.
Many Kenyans suggest this can be normal technical error and it will be solved in due time. Some Kenyans however suggest KBC is incurring a lot of losses thus leading to such a problem and this may lead to the state run channel to be closed for good. KBC management haven't given a good reason for this hitch.Could this be the end of KBC?
