Popular Kenyan radio hosts Maina Kageni and Daniel Churchill Ndambuki aka Mwalimu King'ang'i of Classic 105 radio are arguably the most celebrated radio hosts in Kenya. In their morning show today 29 June, the duo has hosted Kenyan rally driver Patrick Njiru who has shocked many with his revelation concerning his personal life. According to Njiru, he has never drank alcohol throughout his life, has never smoked cigarettes and has been married to one wife for a period of 45 years.
Patrick Njiru is a former Kenyan safari rally driver with Subaru world rally. He retired in 2002 having actively participated since 1983. The 1952 born Kenyan upon retirement has been actively involved in planning, organizing and competing in charity races.
A section of Kenyans reacting on Mr Njiru's revelations have however rubbished his claims saying no Kenyan man can do what he said. Another section have however praised him saying such men still exist in our society.
