Kenyan actress Jacky Vike, popularly known as Awinja, has attracted attention on social media after she published photos that showed her wearing expensive pajamas. The former Papa Shirandula actress who is known for her comedy skits had decided to wish her fans a good night when she uploaded the photos on her social media page. Awinja is known for her extreme love in being photographed and therefore it was no surprise that she stroke a few poses despite being in pajamas.

What, however, attracted the attention of the majority of her followers was not her message but the pajamas she was wearing. The netizens claimed that the pajamas were from the Versa chi brand whose products are known for being extremely expensive.
Renowned comedian Mulamwah was one of the netizens who pointed out that the pajamas were too expensive to be worn only indoors. He went ahead to suggest that the pajamas are good enough to be worn on a journey.
"Wefwe hiii ni nguo ya safari , unalaliaje vasachi?" Mulamwah's comment read.

Kenyans on social media joined in expressing their varied opinions regarding the subject in the comment section of Awinja's post. The majority of the netizens acknowledged that the actress indeed looked good in the pajamas. There were, however, those who were quick to point out that the value of the pajamas was being exaggerated and it was not as expensive as it was being made to appear.
Awinja shot into the limelight through her role in a local drama show dubbed Papa Shirandula.
