34-year-old Kenyan talented multi-genre DJ and producer Alex Nderi, popularly known by his stage name DJ Lithium has passed away after he committed suicide by taking rat poison. It is reported that before committing suicide, he deleted all his social media accounts before writing a suicide note addressed to his colleagues at work and family.
According to the Capital FM fraternity, the DJ left behind his suicide note at his desk which was written "I am gone"... and went to the washroom. He took the rat poison, headed back to the offices and suddenly collapsed. His Capital FM colleagues called AMREF but it was too late. He was then rushed to the Nairobi Hospital and that was where the famous DJ passed away.
Some of his colleagues at the work station said that the DJ had been having family issues and that could have been the reason to why he committed suicide.
