It is rumoured that veteran journalists and other young upcoming journalist are slated for new jobs at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) which is about to make a major relaunch which is said to happen in a few days. Veteran journalists including Catherine Kasavuli, Tom Mboya, Badi Muhsin, Fayaz Kureish and Cynthia Nyamai are set to part of the big guns to spearhead the station which seeks to compete at the highest level with the private media houses.[Photo courtesy]
The station is meant to feature other journalists who have worked in various private media houses. They include former NTV anchor Harith Salim, Fred Indimuli (former Citizen and K24 News Anchor) and Shiksha Arora, Nancy Onyancha as well as Ahmed Juma Bhalo all former Mediamax employees.[Photos courtesy]
It is also rumoured that the launch is set to happen on June 14, but there has not been any communication from the station. We wish them all the best in their new jobs as they prepare to relaunch their career and the national broadcaster.
