Guardian and Musila met in 2020 through a common friend, Maina Kageni, and immediately fell in love.
Musila noted in a previous interview with Kubamba that one morning on her way to work, she heard one of Guardian's songs, Rada, play on Classic 105 for the first time, and it was the first time she had heard it.
"I dialed Maina Kageni's number and inquired about the song. He texted me back right afterwards, saying it's Radar by Guardian Angel "Musila recalled something.
The mother of three had never heard of the musician before, and when she arrived at work, she logged in to her computer and searched for Guardian Angel on YouTube, which she then played throughout the day.
"I knew the words to the song by the time I got home in the evening, but I was wondering about Guardian. I texted Maina and expressed my want to meet Guardian because he is underappreciated "she stated.
Musila organized a meeting between Maina and Guardian, and their love story began then.
The lovebirds, who married in a colorful private wedding on January 4, 2022, celebrated their second friendversary by lavishing love on each other.
"Today marks two years since we first met, courtesy of the song Rada. Our union would not have happened any other way. We had our plans but God went ahead of us and He has continued to guide us through our journey. See what the Lord has done .
The day we met, I could not have even imagined how much our friendship would mean to me and this far we have come. I am grateful to have you in my life. Happy Friendversary my husband. I love you " Musila wrote.
Celebrating his better half, the Rada hit singer said:
"Happy Friendversary my best friend. ❣ my wife. I love you."
In another post, he wrote:
"I love you my queen ."
