Kenya has been regarded as one of the countries in the world which loves international artists more than their own, this has been witnessed from YouTube views where international artists dominate with more views than kenyans. Among those loved are Diamond, Ryvanny, Beyonce, Shakira and many more.
Erick omondi who is dubbed as the president of comedy has come to critics many artists calling them failures in music. This has been not well with him as many have called him or sorts of names telling him to concentrate on his comedy. He was arrested at Parliament buildings where he was demonstrating to have Kenyan music played 90%.
American Rnb singer Jason Derulo has promised to perform in Kenya soon. This was seen in the video where he met former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and recorded a video saying "Kenyan see you soon".This led to many of his fans asking about the date and time he will perfume in Kenya.
