Taking to their Facebook accounts they both shared with their fans some photos depicting their admirable relationship journey.

The couple also accompanied them with some sweet words, whilst also appreciating the good and bad times that they have endured together.
Jasmine's message read;-
" 7 years married can I be real? Marriage is intensely sweet and also incredibly hard at times. Anyone can tell you. We've had the highest highs and the lowest lows so we don't take this number lightly. I love you @djggactivist and I thank God for all the times He has worked on our stubborn hearts, led us back to each other and opened us to the most beautiful experiences. Cheers to year 8 and the many years after that".
DJ Gee Gee penned a message reading;-
" Watu wangu mimi na Empress tunacelebrate 7 years kwa ndoa. Hii journey imekuwa na ups and downs but Mungu amekuwa mfaithful sana kwetu. My prayer is that as we continue with this amazing marriage journey, that God ata perfect every area of our lives ju 7 ni number ya perfection. I would still choose you again and again babes Cooking with Jaz Love Ya!".
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and their marriage has undoubtedly not been a bed of roses.
Earlier in 2020 the 'Bambika' show host opened up on how he wasn't communicating with his wife Jasmine, and that was a big problem in their relationship.
Aside from that the couple also once had a bitter argument because the beauty queen wanted to have a child, but the deejay seemingly didn't want to.
This was conspicously 4 years after their marriage and they still hadn't yet birthed a baby together.
" I brought up the conversation of having a baby and he said I should give him some time to think about it. I lack patience. That's when I lost it because I was feeling I had lost my youth. I got married when I had just turned 24. I didn't want to have kids in my 30s. I thought he don't wanna have kids. I thought I am stuck in a childless marriage". She said.
The couple however finally welcomed their son in 2019, and he is named Uriah which means Yahweh is my light.
