Meet Jose Gatutura , his real name, family, and music journey
Joseph Kanyi Kigio alias as Jose Gatutura or Mashete the king , is one the best and famous Kikuyu Mugithi artist in Kenya,Jose has maintained his celebrity star for more than 10 years due to his discipline in his job lineage.
Jose was born in Nyandarua county in Nyahururu constituency Maili Nne ward, he schooled there also. While he was young, his mentor was CDM Kiratu.
After school, he went to Nairobi to hustle in night clubs and that's when he meet Mike Rua who took him and mentored him till the time he was able to perform on his own.
His first hit song was Thii Ukiumaga which he released in the year 2016 , this song gave huge number of followers and fame.
About his family and marital status, Jose has never exposed his wife nor children,but there was a time he was rumoured to be having a child with Nyambura wa kabue.
