Uhuru & Justin Muturi's Friendship Between a Rock & a Hard Place as he Reveals What Has Changed

The National Assembly Speaker now says there are a number of people in the government who are keen in driving a wedge between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking with NTV's Political Affairs Reporter Kennedy Mureithi, Muturi argues that he is no longer in talking terms with the president as before, adding that some people who he said were drunk in power have been making decision on who does what and when.

"We are a young democracy, some people get excited with offices and power. I always say let it not excite you as you will be there for a short time and leave."

According to Muturi, he now has to 'queue' if he wants to see his once close buddy, the president, even as his zeal to succeed him takes shape.

Some of those close to the speaker say that the communication between him and the president has reduced.

The presidential aspirant however dismissed more questions of the topic, arguing his friendship with the president was intact.

"e don't have to dwell on this. There is nothing really between the president and I that need to be discussed in the public," added Muturi.
