Its Christmas festuve and while everyone is celebrating Christmas, the Former Governor of Nairobi, Mike Sonko is thrown into mourning after the loss of his close family member.
Through his social media page, Mike Sonko has shared his grief of loosing his first cousin Joyce Mumbua Mutisya. According to him the mother to the deceased was a sister to his late dad.
Expressing his sorrow Mike Sonko said that he has lost a childhood friend whom he held dearly to his heart. Mike Sonko revealed that he grew up with the deceased as siblings in Kwale, Wote and Kangundo.
Sonko's cousin was laid to rest today at Wote in Makueni County.
"We are mourning the death of my very dear first cousin Joyce Mumbua Mutisya, whose mother was a sister to my late dad", read part of Mike Sonko's post.
