Cancer is indeed a threatening disaster nationally, having had swept unmatched number of citizens and even most iconic figures overtime. It is a phenomenon that has indeed garnerned much attention from the stakeholders, posing a wake up call in as far as the country's health sector is concerned.
Today, the Maisha Magic East fraternity woke up to series of bad news. This was after two of their actors had been trending online being the talk of the internet. First, one of their acclaimed actors Ainea Ojiambo, made headlines after accidentally shooting a Security Guard in the effort to defend himself from robbery.
Moreover, the fraternity have been plunged into mourning after one of their Veteran actors Gillie Owino succumbed to cancer late yesterday.
Owino was a major cast in Maisha Magic Series Pete where he played "Mzee Msiri" character. Pete programme airs every weekday on Maisha Magic Plus every 7:30PM.
Reports from Owino's family indicated that the actor had been hospitalised since Thursday this week before he took his last breath yesterday in the evening. May his soul rest in peace.
