Recently, a video of former actor Omosh went viral over the internet. In the interview, Omosh broke down into tears expressing how hard life had been to him. It's hard for men to cry but life forced Omosh to cry publicly for help from well wishers and kind hearted Kenyans. This made netizens to go wild and attracted mixed reactions from Kenyans.
While others were sympathizing with the former Tahidi High actor, others criticized him saying that he had lived a reckless and wasteful life and questioned why he went broke all of a sudden. Omosh in the interview said that he could hardly afford to put food on the table and had accumulated rent arrears of upto Sh 100,000. However, he praised his landlord for being patient with him during his toughest time.
This was the life changing moment for Omosh as Kenyans turned in large numbers to express their love for Omosh by providing material support. Veteran media personality and comedian Jalang'o went out of his way to mobilize a few of his friends who helped Omosh. He personally gave Omosh Sh 1000,000 to help rejuvenate him. Among the friends he called include Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho who sent Sh 100,000, Hon. Ali "Somali Bae" who provided shopping worth Sh 50,000 and Sh 60,000 cash money, incoming Trans Nzoia County senator who pledged Sh 100,000 and promised to give Omosh a job in 3- 4 months time, Sh 50,000 from Trippy Go Tours and Travel, Sh 100,000 from Mwnanchi Credit, Sh 50,000 from Jamex Express and many others. Sang Timbers Ltd have also promised to build him a new home on his newly acquired plot of land.
Today, Omosh posted on his Instagram page that he had been given a fully paid 2-day tour to Mombasa Diani together with his friend Joseph Israel from Zero Hero Properties by Top Choice Tours and Travel. However, many Kenyans have warned Omosh not to spend all his money in Mombasa then come and cry for Kenyans again!
