An abdominal injury was the cause of death for a young Kalenjin artist, according to the post-mortem report.
According to the study, 23-year-old Kiprono had collapsed lungs and neck bruising.
It also showed that the deceased had suffered an interior injury from a blunt object.
The postmortem report said that a perforated duodenal ulcer brought on by blunt abdominal trauma was the cause of death. The singer from Eldama Ravine in Baringo County is thought to have been injured during a quarrel last week.
According to reports, Kiprono traveled to Marigat, Baringo County, for his Saturday performance at K2 Resort in Koriema.
After his performance the following day at around 4am, he was attacked.
Hasara Chomet, Mercy, Wrong Number, Kariit, Happy birthday Nicki, and Mechanica are some of Kiprono's well-known songs.
Jamlick, MC Morogit reported that the performer was in good health and thrilled the crowd. After the struggle, according to Morogit, they hurried Kiprono to a Marigat hospital where he received care and was later freed.
His condition worsened on Monday, and he was returned to the hospital.
No arrests have been made in connection with the event, according to Directorate of Criminal Investigations Officer Marigat Leonard Atonga.
But he said that the resort's owner had been accused of running without a permit.
