Disabled Kalenjin Hitmaker Asks For Financial Help to Settle Down With Her Disabled Daughter

Politicians, journalists, and many well-wishers from the Kipsigis community have come out strongly to support one of their own, disabled and renowned gospel artist Gladys Cherotich. The musician is asking for help from her followers and well-wishers to help stabilize with her daughter.

She will be having a fundraiser event on 2th where she hopes to buy land and build a home for both of them.

The Kongoi Jeiso hitmaker has been an inspiration in her music journey for a long. A few years ago she gave birth to a daughter who is also disabled. Having to take care of her, her music career was halted.

She wholly depends on her music to cater for her expenses and that of her daughter. As it's known after the Coronavirus break out, the music industry was badly affected. She has since been fighting poverty to sustain herself and her baby girl.

Among those who have shown will is Bomet county MP Joyce Korir who has contributed sh.20,000 and Sotik MP the same amount.
