Veteran musician Esther Akoth, popularly known by her stage name as Akothee, is a single mother of five who comes from Migori county. Akothee is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated female artistes in East Africa.
Apart from her good music, Akothee is also known for her intolerance for nonsense. She is also a go-getter. Due to this, the musician has captured the attention of many people and her reputation among the youth is growing each dawning day.
The self-proclaimed 'President of single mothers in Africa' is a woman made of iron. Despite her single status, Akothee has managed to raise all her kids and give them quality education.
On her Instagram page today, Akothee expressed her happiness for the lockdown imposed on the country due to the escalating numbers of Corona Virus patients. According to Akothee, the lockdown has made married men to stay at home. The musician encouraged married women to tie their husbands at home if they don't want single women to snatch them.
In the video, Akothee insisted that single mothers also need enjoyment and for that reason those married women who don't want their husbands to be snatched away should tie them at home. Part of her caption read, " Corona has done it again, all people's husbands are locked down again."
The post caused uproar online as netizens supported the musician's idea, confirming that sharing is caring.
Others couldn't hold their laughter after watching the musician's video.
In your own opinion, do you think that sharing of a marriage partner is right?
