On Thursday evening, the comedian elicited a lot of reactions from Kenyans online after asking whether the curfew is still on.

"Learned Friends and Kenya police please tell us if Curfew is on today for planning purposes," he posted on his Facebook page.

Shortly after, netizens started flooding his timeline others opining that the curfew is still on while others were even surprised that there exists curfew.

Below are some of the reactions.

Ñîçksáñ Ñíçk Ñíçkéèy:Yea we need to be clear on this

John Tehh:it has been renewed

Urbanus Wambua: Curfew extended until further notified

Anthony Kioko: Hello Ojo, no curfew

Lawrence Too: Extended until further notice

Mwangi Mung'ure: Niko hapa central police station...I have shouted the name of the OCS from the road a few times and no one is responding. I think wamelala mapema leo

The government extended the nationwide night curfew for 60 days to July 26 as part of measures to contain the third wave of Covid-19 infections.

However, a gazette notice or a speech from the President to address Kenyans are yet to be released which ostensibly could be bringing confusion.
