Gerald Mukiriwas, a 28-year-old man, is accused of breaking into his mother's home and stealing chicken from her.
After his mother declined to give him money, the man is said to have walked into his mother's room and searched for coins in every corner, but unfortunately found none.
This prompted him to seek an alternative, and he now plans to go to the other rooms and take what he can after removing a few pairs of shoes from the bedroom.
The mother screamed loudly in the corner, pleading for assistance. She didn't want her son in, so she decided to close the door. And this is was forced the man to break into the house and to the bedroom.
Gerald Mukiriwas was later accused of stealing sh15,400 worth of chickens, utensils, and shoes. With the charges against him, he was arrested in Kibera and released on a 50,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh 30,000.
