The Kenyan Movie That Has Gained Over 4 Million Shillings In Sales.

The film industry in Kenya has for the longest time been under the line. The film production has not been on the limelight making it almost to impossible to watch a Kenyan movie.

Unfortunately, the narrative is about to change in the biggest way possible. Thanks to Phil It production led by Philip Karanja and Abel Mutua, they have now started to produce films that Kenyans can relate to and have accepted.

Phil It production released there first ever film by the name 'The Grand Little Lie' #GLL. The movie has had a good reception so far. According to Abel Mutua, the movie has been bought by over 20,000 people. Abel say's they have a target of 50,000 people. A quick maths is that the movie was being sold at sh 200 per person. If 20,000 people have watched the movie, this means that the movie got over sh 4 million in sales.

This is a great sign for the Kenyan film industry as they are now starting to rise and put there name on top.
