Ronald."/>According to a post from Tuko news earlier today, a 17-year-old boy named Ronald has threatened to vacate his mother's house if she does not increase his monthly allowance from 100 k to 150k.
The mom, Tyhesiah, complained that the ungrateful teen is now demanding an increase, claiming KSh 100k is not enough to fund his lifestyle. Earlier on the mother had volunteered to cater for the teenager's college fees but he refused. Ronald claims that he is a celebrity and he wants to be a YouTuber. He is now claiming that the 100k he receives from his mother on a monthly basis is very little for him and he is now demanding an additional 50k of what he receives. Kenyans on social media have expressed various reactions and some of them are as follows. One lady by the name of Esther Jackie Augung in her comment said that ''thank God am not his mother coz by now he would have looked for another mother. As long as you are under my roof things are done under my way and this does not include funding your lifestyle.''
Another lady by the name of Christina Kirimi also hinted that ''I blame the irresponsible mother, she failed to teach her children the value of being independent.
A man by the name of Mwanzo peter in his comment he revealed that he was shocked at how the boy was getting allowances from his mother.
