A popular Kalenjin artist by the stage name Samkeystar KE has surprised his fans and followers after announcing on his Facebook account that he is taking a break from doing music for unknown period. On a post posted by himself on his Facebook account, the renowned Kalenjin artist thanked those who supported his music countrywide and also asked for forgiveness from those who he had offended.
"I feel to share this today and let me thank God for this journey of Kalenjin music. Kama umekua ukinisuport, santi sana. Kama umekua ukinichukia pia bila sababu nisamehe. (For those who have been supporting my music I would like to thank you so much and for those who hate me without any reason, please forgive me," Samkeystar.
Samskeystar concluded that his decision to go silent in music was from his heart. "I know that its my decision to choose, but for now am going silent for a short time, thank you for your time and thank you for listening my music," added Samkeystar. Some of his hit songs include, Matiglan, Maureen, Chebet, Ngetkonda among others.
