William Samoei Ruto success in Mount Kenya Region has been contributed by several factors, one being the support from strong Mount Kenya politicians like Ndindi Nyoro, Kimani Ichungwa and Rigathi Gachagua.
However, renowned gospel musician Muigai wa Njoroge has played a major role towards Ruto's fame and popularity in Mount Kenya Region. Muigai wa Njoroge is much respected as a seasoned musician and a Prophet among the Kikuyu community. Some of the words he has ever spoken either directly or indirectly through songs have been fulfilled. For instance, "Mbari ya Kimendero" (The Oppressor's Clan) is a Political song which agitates and fights for the rights of Wanjiku. He is heard lamenting about the first President of the Republic of Kenya the late Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Moi who acquired land illegally. They later transferred the ownership of land and properties to their children. Since then, Kenyans have been lamenting about this issue but all has been in vain.
Njoroge has been enlightening and warning the citizens against voting for dynasties. They should rather consider William Ruto who is a hustler! This has made Ruto to triumph and climb Mount Kenya smoothly.
