Meet Walter "Nyambane" Mong'are, The Redykyulass Man

Walter "Nyambane" Mong'are was among the first group of comedians who made comedy what it is today. The funnyman was born on March 26th, 1975, at Isecha Village, Kisii county. After his primary education, he attended Lenana high school where he sat for his kenya certificate of secondary education.

He later joined Kenyatta University in the year 1996 to 2000 to pursue a bachelor's degree in fine and studio arts, general and Daystar University in 2017 to 2020 pursuing a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies.

Nyambane rose to fame as a comedian in the "redykyulass" comic television shows in the 1990s and early 2000. He portrayed the role of the late president Daniel Arap Moi from his voice down to his attire.

Nyambane later joined Kiss Fm as a co-host of Caroline Muthoko. He then moved to kenya broadcasting corporation standard group and nation media in various capacities. He also served as ahead of the radio.

He is currently a deputy director on youth programs presidency and cabinet affairs office in the government of Kenya.
