
The Luo rap icon Philip Patroba Okoyo popularly known by his stage name Japesa has shared the struggles he was going through while trying to push his page just to get one thousand likes.
Japesa said that he was sending a message to every Facebook friend requesting him/her to like the page and even share. He stated that he was targeting one thousand page likes.

He said that people ignored him and never bothered to do him the favour that he wanted. "You people think I blew overnight, It has been a journey", Japesa said in his post.
He also stated that sometimes he feels like giving up but then when he remembers where he has come from, he end putting more effort on his music career.

This means that Japesa's music journey has been a struggle and sure nothing comes on a silver plate. He never knew he could one day do a collabo with the top Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones.
