For marriage to be successful there must be alot of sacrifices done. A famous gospel singer has done alot so that her marriage can be successful.
Betty Bayo who is known for her Kikuyu songs has narrated the pain she has endured after being dumped by her husband to be. She was known to be the wife of the famous Apostle Kanyari before they broke up.
She dated a guy whom appreciated her for whom she was before things changed for the worse. He started acting negatively towards her and said he wished he dated a light skin woman instead of her . In order to please her husband to be she went to the Nairobi stores to buy the beauty products that could do the job right.
Things went well for a while but after lightening her skin it was not ling before he once again wished that she was abit taller. She had to quit her flat shoes and wear her high heals. She wore the high heals shoes even when going to the washroom and these shoes really covered up for her shortness.
She was later on dumped and this left her really heart broken and confused as a chameleon with yellow face, black legs and blue hands. She later on chose to accept her situation and hoped that people could learn from her mistake and to accept themselves as they are. This is the message she had for the fellow ladies;
