Gengetone Trio Boondocks' Gang Unveils New Video ‘Dhidhi’

Renowned Gengetone group Boondocks Gang is back with a new Music Video dubbed Dhidhi, after a long hiatus which saw all members working and releasing solo projects.

Boondocks Gang are undoubtedly among the most popular Gengetone artistes in Kenya. The three-man group has Exray, Odi wa Murang’a and Edu Maddox as its members.The three members met in Githurai, Nairobi while attending a church drama class in 2015. It was while there that they resolved to form a Gospel Hiphop group.

The new Jam is under The EP 'Genge La Bundoski' and has seven tracks dubbed ‘Commando’, ‘Mamamia’, ‘Tango’, ‘Ukam’, ‘Sijazoea Hivo And ‘Usijiforce’.

Recently after releasing their EP,

Boondocks also released one music video for their fifth track in the EP dubbed ‘Sijazoea Hivo’ featuring Rekles, Guzman, and VJ Chris That Garnered Many Views on YouTube.

Dhidhi Is A Kenyan Sheng Meaning Goosebumps, It's an an intense feeling, nervousness, anxiety or excitement. “Distinctive talents that remain Kenya's pride. Sound active, play this loud. Kenyan Talents Rock!!!” one fan acknowledged.

They have also worked with various artists including Gengetone pioneers Ethic Entertainment.

Notably, Boondocks have been featured on projects by other top artists including Jua Cali, Femi One and Ssaru, Mbuzi Gang ,Guzman of Mbogi Genje Trio Mio and many More.
