The Bonchari by-elections kicked off this morning with promise as people turned up to vote. The voting booths will be open until later today at 5PM when the exercise will cease and counting will commence.
There was drama at one polling station as an agent of Zebedia John Opore, who is the Jubilee Candidate was caught red handed. The man was caught giving bribes to voters as they entered the polling station.

The incident was caught on camera and has been shared widely across the social media platforms. It's unclear which polling station the man was distributing the bribes but this has been witnessed before in previous by-elections.
The unidentified agent was caught with lots of cash on him after members of the public reported him. He also had a reflector jacket with him which had the Zebedia Opore for Bonchari MP written on it.
