Despite his numerous chart-topping hits in Africa, the music distribution and publishing companies he’s currently working with have failed to pay him a single cent.
In a bold move, Harmonize took to social media to publicly express his excitement about Mwana Fa’s appointment and to ask for his help in recovering the money that rightfully belongs to him. “I need 5 serious royals from Wasafi and Mziiki. They have partnered to play with my life, and I did nothing wrong to them,” he said. “You can’t sit on someone’s money that they’ve been fighting for three years, and you’re not afraid of God’s curse. Mwana Fa, congratulations, and I ask you to start with this issue.”
In addition to his plea for financial justice, the Konde Gang CEO also issued a warning to Diamond Platnumz’s die-hard fans, known as “chawa,” who have been bad-mouthing him on social media. “I respect you, my brothers and sisters, but when you speak on social media, especially when there are issues, you stand against me and convince others that what you see is right for your own benefit,” he said. “Sometimes you insult me and say that I am not a good human being.
