Trizah Nungari Muchai is a celebrity radio and TV presenter especially among the Kikuyu fans. She had dreams of living and working in the USA since she was a child. She completed school, Worked as a radio presenter and even got married.
Unfortunately, her marriage failed after four years she had two children to show for it.
Finally, she won a green card and traveled to the US, where her aunty graciously hosted her. Trizah, narrated how It took her over 3 months to train as a Nurse Assistant. There after she landed her first job in the same field.
She described the job as humbling but also kind of fulfilling as it involved taking care of the very elderly, the retarded and the helplessly sick in nursing homes. She was so shocked that she didn't eat for a whole week.
Eventually, Nungari adjusted and at some point worked three jobs and was a Communication student at the same time. This meant that in 24 hours she barely rested as she was busy round the clock. She was so fatigued that a had a car accident. She also experienced racism and discrimination because of her country.
The accident, racism and missing her children she decided to come back to Kenya after 7 years of living in the Diaspora. The seasoned presenter, vows that she would never ever go back to the States because she feels home is best.
