Mashirima Kapombe is an award winning Kenyan Swahili news anchor who works at Citizen TV and is known for hosting the weekend bulletin dubbed 'Nipashe Wikendi' on Fridays.

She also co-hosts the educative show dubbed 'Longa Longa' with veteran Swahili presenters Nuhu Bakari and Munene Nyaga on the same day.

She is arguably among the most experienced Swahili news anchors in the country, and has an illustrious career in the media industry which spans for almost 10 years.

However in all the years that has seen the beauty queen work from KBC, QFM, NTV, KTN and finally at the Royal Media-owned station Citizen TV, Mashirima Kapombe has conspicuously kept her personal life away from the limelight.

She is so private that even though she's a mother of one and reported to be currently dating comedian Kazungu Matano alias Captain Otoyo Sibuor, she has relatively managed to keep the details of their relationship under the wraps.

However earlier today the 'Longa Longa' co-host have netizens a sneak peek into her personal life, after revealing how she spent sometime in Garissa County and enjoyed herself.

The mother on one also posted several photos on her Instagram account where she looked exquisite donning some Ankara dresses.

The beauty queen also accompanied the photos with a caption appreciating Garissa for being a magnificent place that everyone should visit.

She also warned them not to be too judgmental and keep away from the many stereotypes associated with the place.
