Raila Odinga was on Monday 27th September suprised by hawkers who gifted him with a pair of shoes while in Chaka town , Nyeri county .The suprise came just at the start of his 7 days tour to the voter rich Mt Kenya region.The hawkers gift marked a good beginning to Raila tour which is geared towards popularising his presidential ambitions.

Mt Kenya is regarded as the country's most targeted region by all presidential suitors.
Raila has today taken to his Facebook page to express his heartfelt gratitude to the two hakwers . Charles Gachara and Kaba Miano had a good privilege of a mention by the country's former prime minister .
Raila Odinga on the other hand has promised to rock with them often in reciprocation . He further promised to deliver president Uhuru Kenyatta's armband which was presented to him by the hawkers .
