Salim Young who is also known as Kanyundo has apologised to his fans, this was after he refused to perform at Klub Liquid Cash in Thika and the fans were angered and club management totally embarrassed. His apology was ment for his regular Githurai 44 fans who have not seen him for some times now.

He was to perform at Klub Liquid Cash, together with upcoming musicians, but he arrived there in the morning, drunk and failed to perform. Fans harrased him on social media saying how fame and money have changed him.

He appeared appologetic to his supporters and even invited them for a Valentine Mugithi gig at Small Villa Kinyumba Club in Githurai 44.

He said that, to all his fans, he was very sorry for being away and at that time, he was a bit busy but he is back. "Nawaalika hii valentine mje tusherehekee pamoja Small Villa. Nyote mwakaribishwa," he told his fans in Swahili.

This was due to the shock he got, from fans criticising his actions at Klub Liquid Cash. We hope he will avoid such scenarios in future, so that he can provide rapport with his fans,and enhance his growth as a Mugithi Music artist
