Renowned Citizen TV news anchor Yvonne Okwara has attracted sympathy from social media users after she made a revelation about her health status. Yvonne Okwara has been battling a spinal cord-related complication for a while but has rarely come out to share her story in detail.
In a recent comment that she made while responding to an inquiry from a fan. Yvonne Okwara admitted that her lifestyle has changed a lot after she underwent a major medical process. According to Yvonne Okwara, she was forced to undergo surgery after various treatments for the spinal cord problem failed to work.
She further noted that the surgery helped her a lot and she has since then improved. The journalist was however quick to add that she has adjusted her lifestyle tremendously following the surgery.
Yvonne Okwara was responding to a fan who had inquired about her condition. The fan claimed that she was also suffering from a similar problem and wanted to know how Yvonne had overcome hers.
"How is your back so far so good is the pain gone completely? I do have herniated disc and am really hurting since last year...I wasn’t to go try a chiropractor for the second time," the fan under the username of hildahsang7 on Instagram inquired.
"My back is good so far. Surgery seems to have worked for me. But I've had to change my lifestyle, my workout regime, as my back is not what it used to be. The surgery obviously changed some things. Taking it a day at a time. Hope you get the help you need," Yvonne Okwara responded.
Kenyans sympathized with Okwara as many wished her a complete recovery.
