The Queen of Airwaves, Mwende Macharia today surprised her fans when she posted adorable pictures of herself showing off her very grown baby bump. She is expecting baby number two. Yes! Baby number two in case you did not know. At the beginning of March, she hinted that it was a month of good news when she posted, ‘The month of good news’.
Mwende has a son with video director J Blessing who goes by the name Champion who turned 7 last year. Seven years ago, Mwende and J Blessing almost tied the knot before he left her for Chantelle. Despite the split, J Blessing has continued to provide for their son.
She got a lot of backlash from Netizens during her first pregnancy being that she was in her 20’s and people expected her to be saved as she was a TV presenter for a gospel show called Tukuza back then. She seems to have recovered from that rough stage in her life as the photos she posted were accompanied by happy captions such as ‘Behold I do a new thing’, ‘Joy unspeakable. After 7 years, I am mom again’ and ‘Queen Mother. All glory be to God.’
Her fans and friends among them the famous actress Brenda Wairimu, Alex Mwakideu, Jovial sent their congratulation messages in the comment section. Though she did not share her due date and the gender of the child, from the photos, it is safe to say she could halfway. The blue mesh cover-up could also be hinting that the baby is a boy.
