Former Tusker Project Fame winner Ruth Matete has left many in tears after she wrote a story and message about her late husband Beloved John.
Beloved John died due to a gas explosion accident that occured in their home last year. Ruth was 2 months pregnant during his death and she was left devastated.
As she was marking one year since the loss, she had a message to her followers and to her late husband in a long social media post.
She said it's one year since his departure which happened 5 months after their wedding and she can write a book of the awful events that occured after he died.
She revealed that it's been hard since his death but God has kept her moving forward even though he left when he was two months pregnant.
"It's been crazy. It's been hard.But God's grace has kept me. I was two months pregnant with my daughter when her father died. I didn't know how I was going to make it or if I was going to make it .But God,"she wrote.
She sent a thank you to God for keeping her and to her fans for being with her through her toughest moment. She went ahead to encourage her fans to always look God for help when in tough situations.
The mother of one went ahead to narrate how she misses her husband and wish that he could have been around to watch their daughter's growth.
"I miss my husband so much. Every milestone my baby Toluwa achieves I wish that her father would be here to celebrate it with me. But such is life. Some days are really hard," she went ahead.
The singer also said that healing is a process and she is not in a hurry to heal from the death of her husband.
Kenyans joined hands in encouraging her and urging her to keep moving with the Lord.
