Kamau Kinuthia is popularly known as Omosh one of the best actors of "Tahidi High School" show which has been aired on Citizen Tv for the last fourteen years that is since 2006 to 2020. He is married to two wives, Mrs Ngatia a Tahidi high actress and Stanty Mumbi. The thespian is a father of five kids.
Yesterday speaking on a YouTube show hosted by Harim Kamua a kikuyu comedian on his YouTube channel "Kamuhunjia", Omosh broke into tears while narrating how hard life has been for the last one year and two months. According to Omosh when Covid-19 struck it dismantled his life: his show (Tahidi High) came to an end and his side hustle as a motivational speaker in high schools was closed.
During the show he said that there is nothing hard like waking up every morning and there is nowhere to go. He added that he would wake up at night and go out to cry at times he would cry while on the roads walking. He stated that life has been so difficult that he can not provide his family with the basic needs. His children were wondering of what he has become. However, he said that God has been so faithful to him. He has been living at the mercy of his friends and neighbors who have been supporting him with meals and even taking his kids to school. He stated that the day before yesterday one of his neighbors bought his last born school uniform and took him to school. He added that he has rental arrears of over Ksh 150,000 for one year and two months.
Omosh was once an addict of alcohol for many years and he tried to overcome it but his efforts did not bear fruits. Fortunately, one day his sister came to rescue him, she helped him to be rehabilitated for three months. After the rehabilitation he had gained weight and he was sober. Omosh is appealing to Kenyans to help him get a job or even help him start a small business.
He revealed that he is ready to do any job even if he will be getting Ksh 200 a day and he won't be bothered of his class. He added that he is a good driver with a driving license. He is even willing to start a hotel business where he can sell uji and tea. According to him Citizen Tv gave him the platform to be known and enough payment for only his basic needs but not much to save or invest.
