Remember The Legendary Shosh Nyakairo? See What Happened To Him

Stephen Wanjohi well known by his mimic character of an old woman as Shosho Nyakairo, was undoubtedly the 'king' of comedy from the 90's up to 2010.

His career glow started dimming after he quitted the Royal Media Services owned radio station, Inooro FM in 2010, where he was a co-host with the now 'governor wa ngogoyo' ,Kamau Wa Kange'the.

Two years later after quitting Inooro FM,he joined Papa Shilandura, a local program that was being aired on Citizen TV. There he still played the same role of an old woman where she was the mother of 'Wa Firethi'.

After the program ended in July 2020 following the unfortunate death of the lead character, Charles Bukeko, Shosho Nyakairo went back to his village in Murang'a.

In his home, which is in Murang'a County, the veteran actor is practicing greenhouse farming. He also do small gigs of entertaining people in ceremonies like weddings.

In a recent interview,he confirmed that he will soon make a comeback although he didn't disclose when. His unique character and source of humor has always made many who can't wait his comeback laugh.
