Martina has come through to reveal that she suffers from a condition called PCOS and that is one of the reasons unto why she did not suspect that she could be pregnant all this while. She has explained her journey with the condition; majoring on how it has not been easy for her. Firstly, PCOS Stands for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It is a common condition that affects how a woman’s ovaries work. Apart from interfering with the monthly cycle, it also causes obesity and other chronic illnesses such as diabetes. She found out she had the condition when she was 16 years old. Immediately, she started taking contraceptive pills whose role was to ideally balance her hormones so that she would receive her monthly cycle.
Contraception worked but then at some point, she stopped. As for her, the only visible symptom of PCOS that she has is that she is so hairy. Apart from that, the condition has not tampered with her fertility because she is pregnant. Thank you so much for clicking on this article. Kindly remember to like, comment and share it.
