Esther Wahome is a veteran Kenyan gospel artist who shot to fame through her timeless hit-song Kuna Dawa that appealed to both young and old. Born on December 24, 1974, the scandal-free singer grew up in a musical background since her father was a very talented instrumentalist and musician.
She started music as a hobby before she became a full-time musician after landing fortunes in the gospel industry. The mellow voiced singer recorded her first album after completing her secondary education at Pangani girls. Her breakthrough came after a TV producer who was working with Kenya Broadcast Corporation(KBC) discovered her talent.
The producer gave her a golden opportunity to appear on the Sing and Shine programme that was popular back then. Besides being a talented musician, Esther Wahome also has a passion for modeling.
In 2012, she proudly stood to be counted among the most beautiful women in the world after participating in the Miss Universe beauty pageant in Russia. She was the only black African competing for the coveted crown and she became the first runners-up. She has advertised for top brands among the Unilever, UNICEF, AMREF among others, thanks to her beauty and talent in modelling.
Esther Wahome turned 47 years last month and despite her age, she is still glowing. The pretty songstress revealed in a past interview that she exercises 3 days a week. Check out her latest photos.
