A reknowned kikuyu benga songstress Mary Wangare alias Kareh B shared a heartbreaking post on her Facebook page to mourn the death of her big sister,former NTV journalist Winnie Mukami.

"Someone please wake me up from this bad dream," she wrote.

Her post attracted thousands of her fans,who flooded on the comments section to send their thoughts,prayers and condolences messages to the singer and her family.

The 'Tuirio twega' hitmaker yesterday shared a picture of memorial candle and a white rose on her Facebook account,announcing the bereaved news to her fans.

The graphic illustration conveyed a strong message leading to an outpouring of support from her fans and friends on social media.

"I'm so sorry for your loss Kareh.May Winnie Mukami Rest in Eternal Peace," one fan wrote.

"It is well, May God comfort you and your family at large," came in another message.

Defeated by the overwhelming goodwill messgaes she had received,Kareh thanked her fans for all the love and support they sent to her;as the family grieve and try to endure this profound loss of their loved one.

"Thank you everyone for your words of comfort.I don't take any of you for granted.It's very tough but God gives and God takes away," she posted.
