In the music video, Stivo donned a cowboy persona similar to that of American rapper Lil Nas in his song, 'Old Town Road'. Photos of Stivo pulling the cowboy look surfaced online after he shared them on his social media page.
The rapper stayed true to his words in a recent interview with Lynn Ngugi on YouTube where he hinted at an upcoming song.
"T have something cooking and will be out soon. I want my fans to be my judges and tell me what they think about the song" said Stivo.
The Vijana tuwache mihadarati' star also mentioned an album project he is working on and in addition, organizing a football tournament, which he will invite his fans to watch upon its completion.
"The reason I have been out of the music scene for a while is because of my album launch and I'm also working on the Mihadarati Tournament. Once it's ready then I will now invite fans to come over and watch he added.
The new song follows allegations refuted by Stivo that his management is taking advantage of him and that he has not been benefiting from his craft.
The song comes 7 months since his last release titled Mapenzi Ya Pesa. Other songs done by Stivo Simple Boy include 'Glory, Tuheshimu Ndoa, Inauma just to mention a few.
