Last Friday after a heart surgery, Schwarzenegger graced his social media platforms to thank his doctors and nurses for a well-done job.
This is what he wrote on his Twitter and Instagram account, “Thanks to the team at the Cleveland Clinic, I have a new aortic valve to go along with my new pulmonary valve from my last surgery. I feel fantastic and have already been walking the streets of Cleveland enjoying your amazing statues. Thank you to every doc and nurse on my team!"
In 1997, the Terminator star had his first pulmonary valve replacement. The former California Governor had a second valve replacement in 2018 and his 3rd last week.
The aortic valve helps blood flow out of the heart and through the rest of the body. When it is damaged, it can lead to pulmonary aortic and pulmonary valve regurgitation.
The Austrian-American star started his acting career in the 1970s and has appeared in over 50 films. Some of his globally successful films include The Terminator, Predator, Total Recall, Commando, Batman and Robin, Legend of Conan Generation Iron, and The Expendables.
Arnold is a republican. He became the Governor of California in November 2003. His second term as governor began in January 2007 and ended in January of 2011.
