"A true artist never retires until death" - Fans tell Nigerian artist Olamide after latest tweet

Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter known by his stage name Olamide has sparked numerous reactions following his latest tweet on taking a long break from music after his yet to be released album dubbed "Unruly" which many have seen as a step to retirement from making music.

Olamide aka "Baddo" is a household name in the Nigerian music industry and a legend well known by always supporting upcoming artists who end up making it big in the industry, some signed under his label, Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL).

Some of the big names the rapper has helped in their musical career include, Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold, Lyta, Chinko Ekun, Dj Enimoney among many other artists.

He is among the legends in the Nigerian music industry and an inspiration to many worldwide.

The rapper's fans have also applauded him for supporting upcoming artists in the industry.

Some fans have also shown surprise following the news begging the rapper not to quit music anytime soon.

The latest project Olamide has been featured in by Portable, a new artist in the Nigerian music industry alongside dancer Poco Lee is "ZaZoo Zehh" which has over a million views on YouTube and a street anthem toping chats not only in Nigeria but also in different African countries.
