Popular Mediamax Radio Presenter Quits, Joins Rival Radio Station

MC Japhee who was formerly attached to Kalenjin Radio Station Emoo FM has confirmed quitting the leading vernacular radio station owned by Mediamax Limited.

The renown radio host who partnered with Scola Lady Jay Dee has enjoyed a lengthy period of service with Mediamax since joining Emoo FM a few years ago.

While ending his contract with Emoo FM, MC Japhee wrote, "It's that time to feel both sad and excited. Sad because I'm leaving a place that gave me my first ever platform to speak my mother language to my community. Thank you so much Mediamax Limited and by extension Emoo FM family, my bosses Joshua Sang and Daisy Rotino for believing in this brand".

Following his departure from Mediamax owned Emoo FM, MC Japhee has confirmed that he will be joining Berur FM allied to Standard Media Group. This comes a few days before Standard Media Group launches the newly established Berur Radio Station. Other parties expected to join Berur FM after its inauguration include standout Kalenjin comedian Brobox and Deejay Nosh.
