His death was announced to public through social media on Thursday 2nd December by his close friends who said that he succumbed to High Blood Pressure.
High Blood Pressure is a long-term condition where the force of the blood against that artery is high. When the force is severe high the condition is called hypertension.
Pastor Godfrey Migwi was a well known longtime Gospel singer whose songs were full of inspiration and gave hope to the listeners and also a Bishop at Hope of Life Church which is located at Kayole, Nairobi county.
Bishop Godfrey Migwi had recently joined politics where had had announced that he will vie for Mathioya constituency parliamentary seat on UDA party in the 2022 general election.
He was also Deputy President William Ruto die-hard and was always opposed to the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga which he highly condemned.
Many singers, media personalities and politicians led by DP Ruto has mourned him as a brave and focused man of God.
