The burial of the Duke of Edinburgh is today the 17th day of April 2021. Prince Phillip died on Friday 9 April aged 99 years. His burial will be celebrated by all Commonwealth countries and all states in the world.
Prince Phillip prepared personally for his burial by doing some things or by word of mouth what he expects in his burial. Prince Phillip spend fifteen years to make a land Rover that will carry his coffin. The land Rover is open at the back. He dictated that during his burial, this landrover should be painted in military colour.
Prince Phillip also made a carriage in 2003 that will be pulled by his two ponies. These chariot will be escorted by other horses during the ceremony.
The Duke of Edinburgh also dictated on the decorations and insignia to be used during his burial. These insignia will will be laid at the altar at St George's chapel at his Requiem. They will represent His Royal Highness' status in a variety of countries and institutions.
His burial ceremony will commence at 1230hrs which is equivalent to 1430 hrs in EAT time.
