Veteran American rapper Earl Simmons popularly known by his stage name DMX has died at the age of 50, the AP reports.
Last Friday, TMZ clarified that DMX had been hospitalized in a critical condition, after enduring a period of illness that was preceded by a drug glut.
On April 4, his former supervisor Nakia Walker told The New York Times on April 4 that DMX was in “vegetation state.” TMZ recently announced that another round of neurological testing did not show an improvement in DMX status.
DMX sold a large number of records and was the lead actor whose first four collections appeared number 1 on the Billboard charts. The musician and entertainer began playing in the mid-1990s and released his presentation of The Dark and Dark Fire in 1998.
The collection sold 251,000 repetitions within its first seven days of delivery. He was arrested more than once for a long time, for robbery, assault, driving with difficulty and without a permit, and weapons and possession of ownership.
He spent time in prison after confessing in 2008 to a ruthless creature, drug possession and robbery.
