Over the years, The family of Famous Freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi has continued to struggle despite the fact that their father, Dedan Kimathi played a very big role in the attainment of Kenya's independence.
Kimathi was one of the key orchestrators of the Mau Mau group that drove away the Whiteman through sweat and blood. Even after his death, Dedan Kimathi has remained to be a significant part of the country's rich history when it comes to Kenya's struggle for independence.
After years of anguish and suffering, the family of Dedan Kimathi has today witnessed a big Miracle after the mother of the house Miss Mukami Kimathi managed to walk today after spending decades in a wheelchair.
According to a report by Murang'a Newspaper, the family is in a celebratory mood after the incident which they have called a 'Miracle'.
"Dedan Kimathi's home is currently in merry as the freedom fighter's wife, Mukami Kimathi walks on her feet after spending decades on a wheelchair. Today, she walked using her friend's support, and gradually, doctors say that she will be able to walk again without support. The family has called this development a miracle from heaven."
