Call him the "tea master", because that's what he does best , serves piping hot tea.Dear reader , this is not your typical cup of tea but a different type all together.
This man in question is none other than the legendary Instragrammer Edgar Obare. The tea which loosely translates to information or gossip backed up with "receipts" (evidence) is relayed to Obare's loyal fans through his Insta stories.
Many renowned personalities have found themselves in his Insta stories with the latest exposé being about the Wash Wash business Cartels. The term Wash wash loosely translates to a web of money launderers and conmen.
Linking various big names in the country to the scandal like former TV girl Betty Kyallo, KISS FM presenter Jalang'o , NTV news anchor Dennis Okari and billionaire turned politician Jimmy Wanjigi among others.
A video clearly showing an intoxicated Betty with a man alleged to be a wash wash cartel has been making rounds on Twitter for the passed two days after it was posted in Obare's stories.
This has led to an uproar from Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) with many questioning the source of wealth of the former KTN and K24 news anchor following the launch of her high ends salon and barber shop and the new identity as a business woman.
However, Betty has since refuted the claims gently following an inquiry by a follower of hers on Instagram.
Jalang'o has also distanced himself from the scandal through a statement he issued out yesterday during their morning show in KISS FM with Kamene Goro. That all the wealth he has has been acquired through hard work.
