For the longest time, many individuals thought that Ken Wakuraya should date Muthoni Wa Mukiri due to the great chemistry between them while on screens back then. During the interview, Ken Wakuraya stated that Muthoni Wa Mukiri is his best friend.

Ken went ahead to state that he has a family of his own with his firstborn being 19 years of age. He never wanted to give more details about his family as it is one of the ways of protecting them from the social media streets.

Ken Wakuraya also stated that the fact that he is a well-known personality does not mean his family would want to follow that route hence allowing them to be. Anne Muratha's efforts to get his wife's name bore no fruits since he never wanted to get into much details.
